Mercy's Cry is a Christian trio based in North Georgia. Our mission is to sing about the redemptive grace of Jesus Christ, which is the "Hope of the Broken World."

Carley Abner

Lead

Carley began singing as a small boy with the family. His dad was a Baptist minister so he had plenty of opportunities. He has been a part of several groups over the years. Early on Carley sang with The Calvarymen which featured Brian Free at Tenor, Wayne Post Lead, and Carley at baritone. He was later instrumental resurrection the Lancers which later changed their name to the Diplomats. He was also the lead vocalist for the Harbormen and most recently The Homeland Boys.

With a strong lead voice, Carley sets a rich foundation for the harmony of Mercy's Cry. He and his wife Shirley are active members of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Clarkesville Georgia.
